Part 2: Hollywood Exposed: The Secret They Keep
"For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad."
-Luke 8:17
With the recent events in Hollywood manifesting in the public limelight, I thought it would be a good idea to write this blog about what many already knew was happening, but no one wanted to acknowledge it. I'm talking about the depravity that is Hollywood. The pedophilia, the rape, the sexual assaults and the sick, perverted kingpins that are praised for their "work".
In 2011, Corey Feldman went on a TV interview proclaiming to the world the problem that is Hollywood. The pedophilia that runs rampant and kept under lock and key with even some laws that protect the perpetrator instead of the victim. Kids that are thrust into the spotlight from an early age to wanna be stars in their teens looking for their fame and fortune. Feldman says, "I was surrounded by them." What parent wants this for their child? I have said many times that I don't wish fame on anyone, because of the fact that I have read and heard of the numerous people that state exactly what you have to do in order to become famous. Feldman went on to write a book, "Coreyography", where he tells about naming the people that sexually molested him. He says he suffered years of this torment at the hands of "older men in Hollywood". His best friend, Corey Haim, also underwent this abuse which led to his dependency on drugs and eventually the scars of the abuse caused him to take his own life. Meanwhile the predators that did this to him, sit back in their million dollar mansions and laugh. And we continue to throw stacks of money to these evil people. Every time we buy a ticket for these big name director's movies, we are paying them to continue doing this. Let that sink in. We no longer live in an age of ignorance, those that stay in their ignorance, choose to be ignorant by turning a blind eye. Their entertainment is more important than what is happening to these kids.
We as a society have become so cold in our ways of thinking that numerous accounts of this evil is now coming to light and people just sit and go, "wow." But then turn around and shell out $8 for an extra large tub of popcorn while going to see another blockbuster.
"And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."
-Matthew 24:12
Money is what draws power and if we said that's it, we're done! These people wouldn't have the money and the power to do what they do.
God's word warns us time and time again of the various sins that overtake our world, He warns of the devices used by Satan and still we think that grace is enough to continue sinning. Jesus didn't die on the cross to give us a license to sin, He died so that we could be free from sin! He tells us, "Go, and sin no more." He didn't once say, "Go, sin freely, no problem, I died so you could sin." But too many Christians live exactly like this. It's one thing to do so when you don't know, but if you've been warned and simply turn a blind eye, you are sinning willingly! It is also a Christian's responsibility to grow in God's Word, not be stagnant and ignore Him.
Continuing in the theme, Feldman is just one of many that have spoken out regarding this depravity. Courtney Love had come out in 2005 outing Harvey Weinstein as a sexual deviant, but no one listened. To date, over 40 women have come forth targeting Weinstein. And it doesn't stop there. Now A list actors and actresses are coming forth with their own allegations against many others within Hollywood. Those names include Rose McGowan, Reese Witherspoon, Ashley Judd, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow. Actors have also come forward such as James Van Der Beek and Terry Crews have spoken on their experiences as well. These issues have been around for quite some time, but because so many have finally decided that now is the time to bring this news out, people have no excuse but to admit this is a problem.
In years prior, the famed director Bryan Singer who has made such films as The Usual Suspects and the X-Men movies, has made headlines for his sick perverted parties he held and attended where young boys were made to strip naked in pool parties and were abused by him and others. He was convicted and was made to serve time in prison, but here he is now making another movie, the biopic film of Queen titled Bohemian Rhapsody. If people would only boycott him and his films, Hollywood would get the message to stop letting sexual predators make or star in movies.
Roman Polanski, director of many films such as Rosemary's Baby, Macbeth, The Pianist and The Ninth Gate, has also been accused and convicted of sexual abuse and rape. He is also still directing and making movies.
The list is endless of directors and producers that have participated in some form of sexual abuse or another. And the buck doesn't stop there. There are also many actors, singers, politicians, news anchors and sports figures that have been caught engaging in these perverted actions. Click this link to see a list of 24 of these individuals.
There are also others such as Patrick Swayze, Ben Affleck, George Clooney, Casey Affleck and R Kelley. And this is still, just to name a few.
Let's not be shy about the truth that is Hollywood, it is a den of perversion. It is no secret that the casting couch applies more than we want to think about. The roots of Hollywood, even the meager beginnings, are also steeped in sexual perversion. There is no looking back at the innocence of Hollywood because it doesn't exist. Norma Jean, AKA Marilyn Monroe, had to sell her body before becoming famous, and even then, she was still passed around like a piece of meat. James Dean, the all around bad boy rebel who made women swoon, was hung up in love with Marlon Brando, Dean apparently also had a three way encounter with Walt Disney and a director according to a new book, James Dean: Tomorrow Never Comes. In the book it makes clear that he would sleep with anybody to get ahead. Joan Collins had to become a high class prostitute in order to get where she got.
The list seems never ending. But we let it happen as a society because we want our entertainment. We look up to these "stars" as idols and as bigger than life itself, we plaster them all over our walls and defend them to the death if someone says something negative about them. It has to STOP. Now these actors and actresses and even singers that go along with it, while I will never suggest that they deserve what they get because that is not what I'm saying, but these people need to stop allowing this to happen just so they can sign a contract with the devil and become famous. At what point do you start respecting yourself and not allow this to become commonplace? Not to say that everyone of them goes far, many of them are raped and left to the wayside just for some sicko's pleasure. People like Ashley Judd who allowed things to happen and just now are saying something, after earning millions, which at this point she should ask herself, what is worth it? Was going through that humiliation and the whole process of sexual abuse worth your millions and your fame? If more people would walk away from this industry, it would not be such a big problem. All these stars coming out now could have walked away from many of these problems, but they didn't, they made a conscious choice to get where they so desperately wanted to be.
But my main concern are the children. The ones who don't seem to have a voice because they are afraid of the very people who are supposed to be looking out for them. Many have taken their own lives because of the abuse and many are left scarred and traumatized for life. The ones that make it out on the other side, most of the time, continue the pattern that was bestowed upon them and do it to others. Let's just say the number of children this happens to is 1 out of 10, which I know is much higher, but for argument's sake let's say 1 out of 10 children are molested or sexually assaulted in one way or another, is this not enough for us to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH? For the sake of that one child???
What if it was your child? Does this not anger you? I cannot, I repeat, CANNOT watch a movie or TV show anymore without thinking what did this child or person have to do to get this part? Because it happens ALL THE TIME. Don't put blinders on because we are to blame for allowing this to continue by not boycotting this sick industry. I'm tired of the rampant sin that is allowed to permeate through our streets and we just sit idly by and let it flow.
Look around at the world and see what is becoming of it. Many don't want to see the news of the sexual deviancy, they scroll past the articles that are just too much for them to bear and would rather see the cute stories of kittens being rescued out of trees. You are doing no one a favor by turning your head, we need to get on our knees and pray for this world, we need to pray for these victims because they need it, we need to pray that God turns these perverts away from their sin, if we don't who will? We all need God's grace, we all need someone to pray for us, we all need someone to intervene and ask God to have mercy on us sinners. We pray for our family members and friends for salvation, why not these Hollywood people as well? It can be done, but the ones that are truly saved, they know they can't mix with the likes of the Hollywood industry anymore. Stars such as Chris Tucker from the Rush Hour movies who took a huge step away because he became a born again Christian. Montell Jordan, the singer of the popular 90s hit "This Is How We Do It" left the industry and became a worship leader in a Christian church in Atlanta. They understood to not be unequally yoked, they understood that we must pick up our cross and carry it.
In a previous blog, I wrote about the occult in Hollywood, it seems that the occult and sexual perversion almost always go hand in hand. If you haven't read that one, I suggest you do so you can see just how bad the entire system of Hollywood really is. The glitz and glamour is all a smoke screen, used to lure innocent people, and some not so innocent, into it's deceptive web. If only God's people would defend His word as much as they defend their movies and their "stars", we would see a difference in this world, but evil is taking over.....for now. The day is swiftly approaching when Jesus will first rapture His church, then return 7 years from that day and do away with all evil. But things won't be getting better, they are getting worse and we need to be prepared spiritually for this. In the book of Revelation, Satan loses. God wins. The enemy knows this and knows he has but a short time, so his fury, his lies and his deceptions will grow by leaps and bounds the closer we get to this time period, which I believe is right around the corner. Jesus talked more about Hell than He did about Heaven. Why? Because He wants to make clear the dire situation it is to end up in Hell. He wants all to be saved, but not all will be. Narrow is the way to eternal life, but wide is the path to destruction. If you haven't given your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time. Seek Him out, search His word. He wants a personal relationship with you. yes YOU! And for the Lukewarm Christian, stop playing around with the things of this world, be separate, don't allow yourself to be entertained by demons because the spirit of Hollywood and the music industry is exactly that, demons. If you don't agree with staying away from things that God has called evil, you better find the scriptures that prove that, otherwise you are writing your own Bible and causing contradiction within the body of Christ. If God says no, you shouldn't make excuses for it.
In closing, be mindful of what you watch and who you watch. Many of these so called stars are so deep in the occult and sexual perversion, and many of which are surprising to most. But this is what happens when we blindly follow these people. Say no to movies and TV shows and music that are made by known sexual deviants. In all honestly, we should all watch less and do more. Watch less movies and do more activities with our family and friends, watch less TV and play more games or read more books. Listen to less ( or as I would prefer none at all ) worldly music and listen to more uplifting songs that praise the Lord. Look deep within yourself and ask the Lord to guide you in His spirit, I promise you, He will never lead you towards sin, but away from it.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 7:1 - Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
